CSI POS Back office Update v4.9.3
Release Note on POS Version 4.9.3
On May 15, 2024, CSI POS Back Office version 4.9.3 was initially rolled out to 1814 pilot offices. As of May 28, 2024, the patch has been pushed to all remaining offices.
Steps to Follow for Upgradation:
- Close Back-Office & Counter Applications at all nodes.
- Run Daily Sync and wait for successful execution.
- Launch the Application. You will receive a pop-up to update the application.
- Update Both Counter & BO Applications to the latest version (4.9.3).
- Run High Sync and wait until successful execution without any error.
- Download Database Patch:
- Open this link on the server system: http://172.19.64.105:8080/pos/Database_Build/Db_Patch_Renewal.zip.
- A zip file will be downloaded.
- Extract the zip file and run the “DbActivity.bat” file.
- Upon successful execution, you will receive a success message: “Utility Executed Successfully”.
- Proceed with Transactions.
Important Note:
Other offices are requested not to upgrade the application without official confirmation via email or group message to avoid any impact on business activity.
