Migration of Email Accounts to New NIC eMail Platform
Department of post has announced the migration of email accounts of users of the Department of Posts to the new NIC eMail solution. This upgraded platform offers enhanced functional and technical capabilities. The migration process is scheduled to be completed by 14.06.2024. Below are the important details and steps regarding this transition:

Key Points of the Migrtion Process:
- Unchanged Email Addresses:
- The migration will not result in a change of email addresses.
- All existing emails, contacts, tasks, and calendar entries will be seamlessly transferred to the new platform.
- Notification Prior to Migration:
- Users will receive an email from NIC outlining the steps involved in the migration.
- This email will provide detailed instructions on accessing the new platform.
- Uninterrupted Access During Migration:
- Users will continue to have uninterrupted access to their email accounts throughout the migration process.
- An email notification will be sent upon the completion of the migration.
- Post-Migration Actions:
- Users will log in for the first time using their existing email password.
- Upon the first login, users will be prompted to change their password and update their profile.
